Puerto Rican duo J-King y Maximan deliver upbeat reggaeton similar to contemporary pairs like Wisin & Yandel and Alexis & Fido. Following their beginnings as Los Rastrilleros, J-King (born Jaime Borges Bonilla in Ponce, but also raised in Massachusetts and Germany) and Maximan (born Héctor L. Padilla, also in Ponce) joined the group Casa de Leones in 2006. After releasing a single album together, the members broke off into respective projects. J-King y Maximan issued their first mixtape in 2008, the eponymous Los Rastrilleros, before releasing their official debut full-length, Los Superheroes, two years later. The album featured the singles "Cuando, Cuando Es?" and "Sr. Juez," as well as "Volvieron los 5," which reunited the members of Casa de Leones. Their sophomore effort, Los Sucesores, arrived in 2013, while the return of the dynamic duo landed in 2015 on Volvieron Los Rastrilleros (Preloaded).
