Jon Rauhouse is the steel-guitar hero of the alt-country community based at Chicago's Bloodshot Records. He started out as a member of country-rock band the Grievous Angels in the 1990s, but his steel-guitar prowess quickly made him a first-call session player. He has worked with Neko Case, the Waco Brothers, Old '97s, and many more, but he also released a string of solo albums that show his pedal-steel pizzazz, beginning with STEEL GUITAR AIR SHOW in 2002.
