Nelson Riveros is a Latin American jazz guitarist, composer and arranger. A first generation American of Colombian descent, he was born and raised in New York City. His style incorporates the post-bop jazz guitar tradition wed to an exceptional knowledge of Latin and Brazilian song and dance forms as well the classical tradition. He made his recorded debut with the charting Camino al Barrio in 2010, and followed it with The Latin Side of Wes Montgomery in 2021.
