Tim Reynolds is a guitarist and multi-instrumentalist known for his funk- and jazz-influenced band TR3 and for his collaborations with rocker Dave Matthews. ∙ His first duo album with Dave Matthews, 1999’s Live At Luther College, featured acoustic versions of Dave Matthews Band songs and debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200. ∙ Reynolds was part of the all-star Dave Matthews and Friends band that toured with country star Emmylou Harris in 2003 and recorded a CMT Crossroads episode with her in 2004. ∙ Before joining Dave Matthews Band as a permanent member in 2008, he contributed guitar to some of the band’s most successful studio albums, including 1996’s Crash. ∙ The live version of his solo song “Kundalini Bonfire,” from 2010’s Live In Las Vegas, earned a Grammy nomination for Best Rock Instrumental Performance.
