The delightful indie-pop sounds of Watercolor came to be in early 2002 when Joe, Marc's Brother guitarist Joe Pisapia joined vocalist Liz Hodder for a side project. Pisapia had just finished his solo tour of Europe, so Watercolor was perfect timing. The duo self-released their debut album, Beautiful Mistakes, in August 2002. ~ MacKenzie Wilson
