Born on Christmas Day, Rachel Gaudry started her musical journey learning classical piano at age six. After studying jazz at the Canberra School of Music, Gaudry slowly but steadily gained a following touring throughout her native Australia. In 1999, she toured the U.S. and performed at various industry showcases, including the CMJ Music Marathon. In 2001, she released Leaving Traces, her debut album, on her own independent label. ~ Jason MacNeil
