In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. When I was a pre-teen I took piano lessons from Virginia Lott in Boaz WV. I was too lazy and scattered to learn the song I chose for my first recital and I simply made it up on the fly. Attention deficit and laziness led me into songwriting. Todd Burge, My Lost and Found This was my first album produced by the great Tim O’Brien back in 2008 at The Butcher Shoppe in Nashville. Tell us why you chose this song. “Joseph's Prayer to His Baby Son” I’ll never forget standing beside Kenny Malone (on percussion) and recording this live in Tim O’Brien’s living room. Don Dixon produced and played bass. It all seemed right. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Receiving my Mountain Stage cape. No foolin’. Does that make me a live radio super? Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I have already made billions of dollars playing folk music.
