About Jason Yudoff

A singer, songwriter, keyboardist, and percussionist, Jason Yudoff was born in the New York City borough of Manhattan and began his career in entertainment as a talent agent. He later turned to performing himself, playing keyboards, percussion, and vibes in a two-year international tour of the show Tap Dogs. Returning to New York, he became a pianist and percussionist for hire, working industrial shows and as a sideman. He also developed another career doing voice-overs for commercials. To play his own songs, he formed a band, Jason Yudoff & the New Hotness, and began to perform in New York clubs. In 2004, he self-released his debut album, Smoke Sex Water. His second album, Live at the Cutting Room, was released November 26, 2005. Tragic Hero, another studio recording, was given its official release on May 13, 2008. ~ William Ruhlmann
