About Wen Reagan

In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember long road trips to the beach with my parents, all of us singing along with the Beatles, the Beach Boys, Randy Travis, John Denver, and Billy Joel. A core part of my early music education were these road trip playlists! What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Andrew Peterson, Behold the Lamb of God: The True Tall Tale of the Coming of Christ Radiohead, Kid A The Beach Boys, Pet Sounds This is impossible to answer, but here are 3 off the cuff. I grew up with Pet Sounds in our record player every Summer and it left an indelible mark. I wrote a book while listening to Kid A on repeat and Behold the Lamb deeply shaped my faith. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Come Pilgrim Rest (feat. Liz Vice)” I wrote this song with friends Liz Vice and Naaman Wood one cold night in Michigan. We began sharing stories about women in the bible who were on the brink when God came through, and we just knew we had to bear witness to these stories. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I've really enjoyed sharing musical life and friendship with talented songwriters over the years, whether attending the first Porter's Gate recording session, joining Sandra McCracken on stage at the Lyric Theater, or writing songs with Liz Vice. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I'm a very part-time artist. My songwriting has to balance with my other callings as a worship pastor, writer, teacher, husband, and dad of three. But my bucket list is living into each of those callings and I get to do that everyday!
