Listening to my dad's LPs on the living room floor (green shag) with a big ol' set of Sears & Roebucks headphones - must have been Fleetwood Mac's "Rumours" or James Taylor's "JT". The other is our monthly visit to town to hear the DBQ symphony. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? James Taylor, Sweet Baby James Patty Griffin, Living with Ghosts Shawn Colvin, A Few Small Repairs This is an impossible exercise for me, but I selected a few of the albums that impacted me as a writer and producer. The words, the melodies, the arrangements, the performances, the sound; these were pivotal in forming my artistic aesthetic. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Lullaby” It's an old song (live recording), but is a very personal song. I never got to know my grandmothers as an adult. They were very different women and I admired them greatly. This was my wondering what they'd think of me writing and playing music.
