Based out of the Inland Empire area of Southern California, the Almighty Grind follows in the fuse of metal and hip-hop that made the likes of Korn, Limp Bizkit, and Kid Rock famous. With the original lineup of Orlando Costa (vocals), Tony Duran (vocals), Tom DeLong (bass/keyboards), Mike Reynaud (drums), Randy Mora (turntables), and Fernando Navarro (guitar/keyboards) getting together in 1998, a self-released EP entitled Topsoil immediately came out within a year of their formation. By October of 2000, the recruitment of guitarist Phil Lopez completed the lineup as a seven-piece. ~ Mike DaRonco
