About InDisguise

InDisguise brings together two worlds: Paul Rhodes hails from Kansas City, MO, whereas his musical partner Suzanne Jian originates from the Pacific Island of Guam. Together they formed the musical outfit InDisguise in 1998 after countless music industry projects dissolved for both. Rhodes had previously done work with Amy Grant, Ray Charles, Corey Hart, and Wang Chung, as well as opening European showdates for Mersey Beat and the Manic Street Preachers. Jian, on the other hand, was a poet at age 11, a songwriter at 13, and by age 19, she had joined her first band after winning top honors at several area competitions before her days spent as a government assistant. So looking toward the new millennium, InDisguise never looked back and the opportunities rolled in. The band's debut live performance was at the Blair Witch Webfest and shortly thereafter was included on the Witchmix, the follow-up soundtrack to Book of Shadows. In early 2000, InDisguise also self-released Exposed, an album including background vocals by Camille Rodriguez Araullo, daughter of famed Filipino star Celia Rodriguez. Shortly after the release of Exposed, InDisguise began work on their second album, Transitions. In the interim came the simply-titled single The Remixes. ~ MacKenzie Wilson
