Påarp, Sweden, groove pop/rock band Daddy Frizz consists of guitarist/vocalist/songwriter Martin Freij, his younger brother, Marcus Freij, on drums, vocalist/keyboardist Fredrik Lassen, and bassist Karl Andersson. After three years together, the band enjoyed the release of two singles and a video in anticipation of their first full-length release in September 2001. The first single, "Don't Break My Heart" (released in March 2001 on their own label, MacMar Music), quickly did well on Danish and Norwegian airwaves, and began to get picked up by stations in other countries as well. ~ Joslyn Layne
