About promize

Venturing to play crude rhythms within alternative pop/rock choices, still achieving a melodious and plain sound, Promize began as a band in the beginning of the '90s, in Greenfield, MA, fronted by vocalist and songwriter Dave Manning. Due to several circumstances, and after a full-length album delivered in 1994, they disbanded. In 1998; again lead by Manning who also delivered his talent at the drums section, laded by his sister Kelly (drums, guitar) his daughter Shelby Sousa (vocals, guitar) along with Bob Sweeney (bass); Promize returned as a complete unit. One year after reforming, the crew released Stained, a full-length album that again delivered the band's particular sound selections. The Black Album hit the record stores in 2001. ~ Mario Mesquita Borges
