About Renee Olstead

Singer and actress Renee Olstead got her start at a young age, appearing in films and commercials from the time she was eight. Her major roles included the part of Lauren Miller on the television shows STILL STANDING and THE SECRET LIFE OF THE AMERICAN TEENAGER. Olstead released two country-oriented vocal albums in the early 2000s, but it wasn’t until her self-titled 2004 Warner Brothers debut that she began to achieve some recognition. Promoted by composer David Foster, and collaborating with high profile artists such as trumpeter Chris Botti, Olstead earned positive reviews and an industry buzz. Due to complications, however, her album SKYLARK was delayed for several years, and was finally released in 2009.
