An associate of Ann Arbor, MI's Ghostly International label, Ryan Elliott had been establishing a reputation as one of the Detroit area's most adept techno DJs when he was tapped to provide the mixed-disc half of Spectral Sound, Vol. 1, a 2005 set dedicated to summing up the first few years of Ghostly offshoot Spectral Sound. He has held residencies at Ann Arbor's Goodnite Gracie and Detroit's Oslo and Shelter. ~ Andy Kellman
