Hailing from the music hotbed of Austin, TX, Zykos are vocalist/guitarist Mike Booher, vocalist/keyboardist Catherine Davis, guitarist Alex Lyon (who has engineered for Calla, among others), bassist Mike Roeder, and drummer Cully Symington (also of the band 1986). Since first realizing their Americana-tinged indie rock in 2003, Zykos have been on the bill with such names as Cursive, TV on the Radio, the Hold Steady, Interpol, Crooked Fingers, and Spoon.
