One of the most prolific and recognizable Southern gospel tenors of his generation, Dove Award-winning gospel artist Brian Free has been at the fore of the Christian music scene since joining Gold City Quartet in the early 1980s. Free formed his own project, Brian Free & Assurance, in 1993. Since issuing their eponymous 1994 debut, the group has remained a steady presence on the Christian music charts, releasing acclaimed efforts like Live in New York City (2005), Unashamed (2014), and Beyond Amazed (2017).
