About Tim Staffell

In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. In 1971, I was playing music with some guys in West Palm Beach, Florida. One night, I hitchhiked on my own down south to Miami to see a concert given by Arlo Guthrie, who was the son of Woody Guthrie who was an early influence on me. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Beethoven: The Complete Piano Sonatas / Daniel Barenboim Dave Grusin, MOUNTAIN DANCE Steely Dan, Gaucho Because I couldn't choose 5. The other 2 would be Rhapsody and Blues by The Crusaders and Discover American Van Dyk Parks. These have all heavily inspired my musical journey. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I was asked to go to Abbey Road Studios to provide lead vocals for one of my own songs (Doin' Alright) for the movie Bohemian Rhapsody. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I'd love other artists to cover my material.. Please inquire within :)
