Staggering Statistics

About Staggering Statistics

With a sound firmly planted in '90s American indie rock, Staggering Statistics started in late 2002 as a result of Afghan Whigs bassist and founding member John Curley jamming with Austin Brown, a Texas native who played in dozens of bands across the country before arriving in Cincinnati, OH. After various drummers, Brown brought in a longtime friend, multi-instrumentalist Joe Klug, as the band's permanent percussionist. Guitarist and keyboardist Sam Womelsdorf, another veteran of the local scene, was added to the band in late 2005. In addition to two EPs, the four-piece released the full-length All of This & More... on the local Shake-It label in June 2006. ~ Kenyon Hopkin
