The Soft Walls

The solo project of Cold Pumas' Dan Reeves, Soft Walls takes his fascinations with Krautrock and lo-fi in a very different direction. In between his duties with Cold Pumas and running Faux Discx Records, the Brighton, England-based Reeves began recording his experiments with psychedelic folk and electronic elements in 2011; the results were Soft Walls' self-titled debut album, which was released the following year. Soft Walls returned in 2014 with No Time, a more polished and thematically cohesive effort recorded on a borrowed eight-track. ~ Heather Phares
