About WorshipMob

Based out of Colorado Springs, Colorado and founded by Sean Mulholland, the aptly titled WorshipMob took their name from the social media-spawned phenomenon of flash mobs and applied that all-encompassing culture to the world of worship music. Formed in 2011, WorshipMob featured a core group of musicians and prayer leaders, who were joined by 200 worshipers from over 30 local churches on recordings. The group spread the word by uploading its music to video-sharing sites, some of the material being original and some of it covering versions of songs by the likes of Hillsong United and Jesus Culture. By 2014, their video-captured mob events counted views of over seven million, but they didn't have an official release. That changed in 2015 when the Integrity Music label released the group's debut album, Carry the Fire. ~ David Jeffries
