Great to study by...
I once read a article in some magazine about Baroque music and the modulation of brain waves. On a side note I am not a music major or have anything to do with brains - but the gist of the article baroque has the same sine wave as your brain waves, if you have the music playing the back ground it helps you study better. I thought why not give it a go.... I now have a Masters of Arts in Baroque History. Go figure.. There is something about the period and the music and culture. This collection of music of the period is a good solid combination styles of the period, you can't go wrong by buying this.
A Fresh Aire
Compilation albums are very often a collection of well known pieces by lesser artists or ensembles. This is not such an album - it contains both well and lesser known compositions but the standard of the performances recorded is excellent and by well known and superb performers and groups. A great album, very enjoyable and a good price particularly considering the number of tracks.
