Awesome

I absolutely love McFly. This album is so amazing. The sound is different from their previous albums but the catchy tunes and strange lyrics all McFly fans love are still there. This is defiantly one of my favourite McFly albums. Can't wait to see them back in Australia soon =)

To the McFly Army, Galaxy Defenders, Pioneers and other McFly Tourists

McFly is the best band of all time and although this album has quite a different sound it is still amazing!!!!!!! I recommened this album to EVERYONE! it's their 5th album in 7 years and i guarantee it is worth every cent and more! With hits like Shine A Light, Party Girl and Nowhere Left To Run not to mention That's the Truth which is their next single off the album, it take your world by storm and in no time you will be even more in love with these 4 very talented boys then you have ever been before!
Make sure you check out their Super Site.. Mcfly.com!!! it's taking over the internet!
Also watch out for them heading to an arena near you in their upcoming world tour!!!

Above the Noise: new sound, same McFly we love!

Finally! We've been listened to! Haha I kept asking the webmaster to get this album available on the Australian iTunes. Since I used to live in Scotland, I grew up with the cute McFly, the boys with the surf-type music. Then I moved to Adelaide and happened to miss the Radio:Active tour, and that album was amazing, had to get it sent from the UK though.
This album has been a very long wait. And since Pioneers can download it, I did, the 5th person worldwide to. I wasn't exactly in love with it, but I gave it a chance, and I pretty much play it all the time. Us McFly fans have to realise they're not the little boys we used to know; they're men (very good looking men, may I add) and it's essential they experiment with what they can do. Tom has also repeatedly expressed his love for Australia, and wants to tour all over it. Rundown of songs:

1. End of the World: First song they wrote on the album. A mix of the old and new. Will appeal to those who loved Radio:Active. 4 stars.
2. Party Girl: Still not keen on it, very catchy though. Purely new type. 3 stars.
3. If U C Kate: Haha would like to say I don't like it, but I do. 3 and a half stars.
4. Shine A Light: My version doesn't have Taio Cruz. I was lucky enough to watch the making of the video via the website. It's a cute song. 4 stars.
5. I'll be Your Man: Got to be Tom's theme song from now on. Very sweet, with Danny giving it strength. 4 stars.
6. Nowhere Left to Run: Not too good, to be honest. Danny's remix is good though. 3 stars.
7. I Need A Woman: Alright, good lyrics. 3 and a half stars.
8. That's the Truth: Best song on there. It's the newest single too. It's an emotional song, with great lyrics. 5 stars
9. Take me There: It's okay, bit boring. 3 stars.
10. This Song: This Song is alright, my friends love it, but I don't. It's growing on me. 3 and a half stars.
11. Foolish: Favourite song after That's the Truth. A mix of old and new. 4 and a half stars.

I encourage you to give this album a chance :)

Biography

Formed: London, England

Genre: Pop

Years Active: '00s, '10s

Similar to fellow British pop act Busted, London-based McFly came together and quickly won over the youth masses with their boyish charm and lively tales of adolescence. However, while Busted shared commonalities with the punk-edged accessibility of acts like blink-182 and Simple Plan, McFly owed a bit more musically to bands like the Beach Boys. Naming themselves after Michael J. Fox's character from the Back to the Future series, the guys — Danny Jones (guitar/vocals), Tom Fletcher (guitar/vocals),...
