What can I say Slipknot have once again proven themselves with a relentless and hefty f**k you to every single person who has ever doubted them bringing with them a monstrous album titled ' All Hope Is Gone'. From the brutally heavy ' Gematria ( The Killing Name )' to the melodious and hauntingly beautiful ' Snuff", Slipknot have claimed yet another giant footprint in the history of metal and music altogether. As the follow up to the 2004 album ' Vol 3: The Subliminal Verses', ' All Hope Is Gone ' Is the vessel that will carry Slipknot to the top where they so rightously deserve to be, then yet again why would they need to be carried when this nine headed monster from Des Moines, Iowa has climbed all the way to the top with nothing but their instruments and an image that will grab you and beat you around from the very first glimpse of their horrifying masks to their experimentally gripping music.
