Album Review
Less punk than infectious power pop, Chicago's Plain White T's put a modern, airwave-affable stamp on that beloved strain of the rock & roll virus with All That We Needed. The jumpy title track launches the set with a nod to Tom Petty's "American Girl," but the hooks don't stop there. The band draws on Jimmy Eat World for the hit contender "Take Me Away," while tunes like the lovelorn "My Only One" and the punchy "Revenge" rock harder and feel more original. If the cowbell-heavy "What More Do You Want?" is as cheesy as it is alluring, the guilty pleasures continue with the "young horny guy on tour" missive "Sing My Best," which is just one of several songs that recall great lost bands like the Producers, the Ravyns, and the Romantics. The obligatory acoustic parting shot is also solid, evoking the spirit of Big Star's classic "Thirteen." ~ John D. Luerssen, Rovi

What a superb album! Of course, Hey There Delilah is the standout. No drums? No bass? No worries. Plain White T's manages to pull off a hit with Delilah- no wonder it's #1 in every other country- Australia is next. The story behind the story is just as mesmerising. the lead singer, Tom Higgenson met a girl named Delilah DiCrescenzo, of whom he described as being "The most beautiful girl I had ever seen." Alas, Delilah was in a relationship at the time and had no interest in Tom, leading to heartbroken and passionate lyrics. Only the future will tell if Tom and Delilah fall in love. He says, "If we had lived happily ever after, then what would my next song be about?" How touching.

This is one of my favourite Albums stand out includes, Faster, Revenge, Sad Story and All that we Need. Though this band is more of romantic Alternitive it pulls it off nicley hope you find this review helpful
