Outstanding
Thank God this is on iTunes now. I've been trying to buy these albums for about 2 years. I don't really know what ever happened to this band but they are one of those Aussie outfits that could've been outstanding but something happened. The studio chemistry of the band and the musicianship was fantastic. As composers Baby Animals mixed raw rock grooves with more sophisticated song writing techniques that made them appeal to both educated musicians and live pub music fans. Catchy, radio freindly songs with "not-so-inspiring" lyrics that I'm sure would've improved as the band matured. And Suzie...what a voice. Such a shame they aren't still composing and recording...buy this.
Another Underated Aussie Band
Up there with the Oils, the Animals would have to be the most underated Rock Band of the last 2 x decades. Shaved and Dangerous is awsome. Listen to it loud.
