Xtina has returned!

It is fair to say that this album has to be her most daring to date. Christina has once again showed us why she's such a formidable force in music. She has this uncanny ability to totally immerse herself to whatever genre of music she sets her sights on. First and foremost this album is not your typical pop album, the lyrics in several of the songs will make you think, feel & just get up and dance! Those people who enjoy her ballads will not be disappointed with this album, "Stronger Than Ever" & "You Lost Me" once again showcased her amazing vocals. BIONIC has totally delivered what it promised and that is a FUN & IMMERSIVE album. Christina Aguilera will surprise you in several songs including "Bobblehead" & "Woohoo" where you will actually hear her rap, you can totally tell she's having fun. "Elastic Love" will appear to to electro/synth lovers, the uptempo beat will hook you but if you take the time and actually pay attention to the lyrics you'd once again appreciate her impressive songwriting skills. I must concede that "Not Myself Tonight" is probably the weakest single of the album as much as I loved it, I feel that other songs would've made a better first single including "Desnudate" & "Prima Donna". Overall I am more than proud of this album, X_T_I_N_A has once again delivered and will not be surprised if this album garner her more GRAMMYS. Thank you Christina!!

Bionic is well.. different???

It will probably take a little while getting used to Christina with this new sound, but otherwise, the album is not bad. Most of the songs are not something you would fall in love with straight away, so I definitely think it is a grower.

Still the voice of her generation!

This is a great album. Yes it is very different and more left field than what she has done in the past, but it show how versatile Christina is through the way she uses different way of singing. Christina has more control of her voice and have more soul in it.

The deluxe version is definitely worth buying more than the standard version. If you love some indie electro music, then you will be pleased. If you like mainstream, you still have your options. As Christina says, this album is for everyone out there.

Outstanding tracks are: Elastic Love, Monday Morning, Birds of Prey, Little Dreamer, You lost me, I Am, Bionic and Woohoo.

Biography

Born: 18 December 1980 in Staten Island, NY

Genre: Pop

Years Active: '90s, '00s, '10s

A leader in the parade of Mickey Mouse Club veterans who stormed pop at the turn of the millennium, Christina Aguilera was the sexy, brassy diva of the bunch — the Rolling Stones to Britney Spears’ Beatles, as it were. Initially, it was difficult to see Christina outside of the prism of Britney, whose 1999 success launched the new millennium's teen pop boom, but Christina’s big hits of 1999 — “Genie in a Bottle,” “What a Girl Wants,” “Come on Over” — more than held their own with...
