Great Music

Where did this girl come from? She just popped up out of nowhere and completely blew me away. Her voice is light, but the hard beat and riffs makes this music fantastic.

Not just some chick...

Great album by yet another fabo aussie girl, personally i prefer her work from her previous EPs, but this album is still a good listen. There is a certain tonal quality in her voice i really admire, especially in You Kill Me.

What a cracker!!!

Hey Bertie and her band are definitely from Sydney. I saw them play with Bob Evans and they blew poor old Bob off the stage! This album is the best female fronted rock album to come out of Aus in a long long time.

Born in 1984, Australian singer/songwriter Bertie Blackman is the daughter of two painters — her father being the renowned Charles Blackman, a member of the Melbourne-based collective the Antipodeans.
