Dire Straits - Love it !
This was the first compact disc my Dad ever purchased & that I ever saw. As a kid, I played it over & over & over & ... it was also the first CD I wore out. Listen to it & you'll float back to the 80's, smiling. If you were born during the 80's, it's a must for your music library. This albums a CLASSIC !!!

One of my favourite albums. Knopfler really pushes himself in this one, both lyrically and musically. Of course you've got your big hits in Money for Nothing and Walk of life but that is not the reason why this album did so well. Each song brings its own thing to the album, So Far Away with its catchy regge style chours, Money for Nothing with one of the most memorable guitar riffs in history and Brothers In Arms, the song that brought the poet out of Knopfler.
