Nice to stumble across this
20 odd years ago in Sydney I used to frequent gigs by Getaway Plane, one of my favourite bands, I moved to NZ , lost track of what was going on, now back in Australia and stumbled across Aaron and Maurice ! I even notice Thru the Grey in a new guise a track from the Getaway Plane days. There is no mistaking the style and interesting chord progressions, with the funky edge, that was infused in the Getaway Plane Days. On this track though there seems to be an abundance of reverb in a few places that I found a little off putting. Love the track though, but just wish it wasn't masked in quite as many studio effects. But check out the other tunes too ! after a few listens they 'click'.....very nice !
