All that was great about Celtic Woman, now one with the boys.

I first saw the show on cable and loved it, being a fan of the 'Celtic Woman' phenomenom over recent years the whole folk/Celtic style is truly inspiring. Now here we have the boy version. A collection of five artists from 14 to 40 years of age with incredible range and styles. iTunes would do well to have the show available on video to truly appreciate the ambience of the thing, but in the meantime this will have to suffice.
A diverse collection of original Celtic songs and instrumentals nicely mixed with some popular modern classics such as Dire Straights 'Local Hero' theme and 'Brothers in Arms' anthem. The quality of the backing orchestra and brilliant percussion and guitar playing is first class. If you loved the girls then don't miss these guys. Start with this album and then go to your ABC music shop and get the real thing on vid' you'll love it. NB2010

The show was staged, recorded, and filmed in Dublin in August of 2007 and featured five male vocalists, Damian McGinty (only 14 years old when the show was recorded), Keith Harkin, Paul Byrom, Ryan Kelly, and George Donaldson,...
