Big Ups
A much anticipated album from the boys from Sydney. Having started out just The Valentinos some years ago now, the Lost Valentinos built up a solid fan base with there many club hits like "Man With a Gun" and "Sell Yourself". Set with a new drummer the boys hit the studios with the Dance Producing GURU Ewan Pearson to record "Cities of Gold". The album contains singles, "Serio" a track with a smashing percussion section that you can't help to dance along too. Also containing the new single "Thief" which is a testiment to the Lost Valentinos Growth as a band and will cement the debut Lost Valentino Ablum in the iPod's of all the kids around the world. A very solid album that will go into my favorites instantly.

good album, unique sound, definitaly worth the buy, but i prefer their older sound, still good though!
Worth the wait...
Cities of Gold plays from beginning-to-end as a coherent body of work; a rare trait in albums these days. The conceptual narrative backdrop gives the album a unique and interesting mood, which, combined with masterful song writing and production, should make this record a modern day indie classic. Lost Valentinos' esoteric new style may never smash it on the charts or on the radio, but they are a national treasure all the same. Can't wait to see what they come up with next.
