How do you follow up a song that completely captured the imagination of the whole country and had people of all ages singing along with a telivison commercial? The answer just might be Coin Laundry. Starting with sound effects, simple piano and beatboxing Coin Laundry weaves a tapestry of musical delights from start to finish with brilliant harmonies and a weird instrumental break perfectly supporting Lisa's strong vocals. Writing a song about needing an extra dollar for a washing machine might not seem the most universal subject for a hit record but with Lisa it actually works. If you liked Neopolitan Dreams you NEED this. Buy this song now or explain to your grandchildren why you didn't.
