Album Review
The Temper Trap's debut is perhaps most widely known for its lead single, "Sweep Disposition," a pop anthem framed by the influence of Jeff Buckley's falsetto and U2's guitar delay. A similar sound also fuels the rest of Conditions, which takes additional cues from the sweeping, effects-laden strains of Bends-era Radiohead and Coldplay. Released in 2009, this album was supported with a healthy international tour, which included standout performances at the Lollapalooza and Glastonbury festivals.

Surreal
Conditions is, in short, is surreal. I have never before encountered an album that I could play again and again and again and again for weeks on end without losing replayability. Worldwide success for The Temper Trap, I am sure!
