Best Album EVA!!!

anyone reading this has to buy Fever To Tell. With the Yeah Yeah Yeahs 2 Ep's, their newly released Show Your BOnes and, this, Fever To Tell, they have proven themselves to be an amazing band. Karen O is the best asset. With the standout tracks Black Tongue, DAte With The Night and Man blowing me away. Get ready for the YYY cuase they will blow your mind!!!!

Pin's Out, Off the Maps, and other bad puns.

Years later, and this is the album I keep coming back to. Wild, uninhibited and refreshingly honest, Fever to Tell showcases Karen O's lithe and lascivious vocals to the fullest extent we've seen yet in a studio release. From the urgent, up-tempo lechery of 'Tick' to the ernest and simmering 'Maps', Yeah Yeah Yeahs demonstrates a full, delightful spectrum of instrumental agility coupled with Dave Sitek's understated productive acumen. Buy it.

Fever To Tell

"Fever To Tell" is the YYY's first album (they released a couple of EP's prior). It was nominated for a grammy and the NY Times and Spin magazine nominated it as best album for 2004/05. It's a kick a*s album, simple as that. Drummer Brain Chase will very probably rock your world every time you listen to FTT. From the first bars of the opening track to the hidden track (sounding kinda Lou Reed-ish), Chase is all over the drum kit, while still managing to leave plenty of space for Karen O's wildly dynamic, passionate vocals. Chase makes it impossible to stand still while listening to FTT. If Siouxsie and The Banshees had a "baby band" with the White Stripes and sent this "band baby" to school at CBGB's, it would end up sounding something like "Fever To Tell"....
