Capturing the Foo
by GGP (giant guinea pig)Apart from a few strange song choices, this album really captures the Greatness of one of the best bands that have come onto our airwaves in the last 20 years. Includes such classics as The Pretender, Best of You, Skin and Bones and many others which give you the best excuse to just rock out any time, any day. Even if your young and have never heard of the Foo you can still get involved and be a fan in a matter of minutes. Great recap of some of the best songs from this amazing band. Heres to the Foo Fighters (aka.the Foo)
Missing some better songs, they were forced to release this.
by Music to my earsThere are a few favourites missing, which makes this compilation a little disappointing. However, I would like to to stress that this compilation is not an attempt to grab more easy cash, they were forced to this as part of their record deal. Dave Grohl himself actually said in a interview that their record company has actually been bugging them for the last 4 years for a greatest hits album. Many people are sure that the Foos will keep on producing records, which means there is some confusion with regards to the release of 'greatest hits'. I'm sure there'll be more to come and I'm looking forward to it.
