Average at best.
I'm a huge fan of Tripod, and maybe I need to see the show... but as a stand alone album it doesn't have anything going for it. The songs don't lead anywhere and I didn't get a single laugh out of it. Very sad as a massive fan.
What a disappointment!
Compared to the live versions i've heard before these songs are horrible. Fabian and The Only Shepherd are two of my favourite christmas songs but these versions are far from the best from, too sterile and over produced. I enjoyed the quirky sentiment from some of the songs (particularly Santa's Papers) but this CD fails to reach the heights of joy and mirth I have come to expect from Tripod.
Festive Season silliness
I love these guys and this is a hilarious album. My kids love it as an antidote to the crappy Xmas songs all around the place..
