This is where it's at, if you want to hear what Mindless self indulgence is all about, then look no further. After you've heard this album, you'll want to buy them all, but probably not the 2010 releases. Some say they sold out, but really they just grew and changed their style, and I'm not a fan of their changed style.
This album Frankenstein Girls Will Seem Strangely Sexy is very cool. A new sound for when it was released, enjoyed by fans of Combichrist and similar, it has dirty techno beats and grinding rythms, unrelenting criticism about society and a few stabs at particular musos of the past. I hate Jimmy Page for example will leave you feeling as though you really DO hate Jimmy Page, regardless of if you ever liked Led Zeppelin or if you have no idea who they are. If you are a fan of swearing out loud in time to good tunes and like to get things off your chest, then you will enjoy this album. It's a good old musical rant. Cocaine and toupees is another song which will leave you scarily wanting more, perfect for driving, singing to and appreciating very high and squeeky vocals. Such a strange mix of murderous beats and psycho screaming, wait I can't do it any justice, you'll just have to have a listen.........
