good impression
I really like these guys and believe they're getting better and better. My one criticism is that many of their riffs sound like a "good impression" of other artists. However, I love the two big tracks from this album, "Talking Like I'm Falling Down Stairs" & "China". Keep churning out the music lads... I'll be listening.
Brilliant
A fantastic album. Great stuff by Sparkadia. There are some great hits in there such as Mary and China, and the songs are all great. Two thumbs up!
Overall very good
While it may not be quite as consistent as the brilliant "Postcards" it comes fairly close. Standout tracks include Mary, Talking like I'm falling downstairs, and Fade from View. While China was a single it reminds me of the 80's but not in a good way unfortunately. Same with the title track. Apart from that it's a really listenable album and one that will either continue to make you a fan or turn you into a new one.
