Makes you smile from beginning to end!!
As soon as I listened to a few seconds of the Good Morning Baltimore, I knew that I would love this album so I downloaded it immediately. Have I been disappointed? NO!!! I love every track and have played it over and over. I think I already know all of the words. If you love 60's music, bright and breezy with plenty of foot-tapping rhythms then you will love this too. Highly recommended!!
Hairspray is an awesome musical, but it's better on Broadway.
Hey guys, if you really like Hairspray, i recommend you buy the Original Broadway Cast Recording instead of this one. I'm not saying Nikki Blonsky and Zac Efron aren't excellent singers, because they are, but nothing can rival the Original Broadway Cast. They were the original cast for a reason. Being a Hairspray fan, I can't wait for it to come out at the movies, but with some of the best songs taken out (Such as Mama, i'm A Big Girl Now, which is only on this recording as a bonus track) as movie interpretations often have, it probably won't be the same. I really recommend buying the Original Cast Recording, but I'm sure this movie will do a decent job of portraying the musical how it's meant to be. Best song is You Can't Stop The Beat.

this is a terrific album, i just saw the movie and i think everybody should go and see it it is great! the songs i recomend on this album are Ladies Choice by Zac Efron and The nicest kids in town By James Marsden, these are my personal faves!! but they are all FANTASTIC!!! definitly worth downloading!! xox
