IF I WERE YOU i would buy this song!
Songs Are Like Buses, You Wait For Ages Then About A Million Come Along At Once. First Off, Here Is The Official New Single From The Gorgeous Beyonce Knowles, If I Were A Boy Is The First Single From Her New Album - I Am... I wasn't sold on If I Were A Boy on the first listen, especially as I was backing Beautiful Nightmare to be the début track. But now I think I'm hooked, B has really delivered lyrically, she sings with genuine emotion & really forces her voice upon you. I'm sure I am one of the few real music lovers who actually thinks Beyonce is talented, she has a massive vocal range, she can act, dance & dig deep enough, she has a real personality. She just doesn't seem to slip up & while this isn't the most creative song I've heard all year, it does put a tick in every box. Long live queen B.
Absolutely amazing!
Song of the year, no doubt. Also video of the year. Beyonce delivers a stunning vocal performance full of passion and emotion. A huge departure from her usual club banger debut singles, but a step in the right direction. The new album I AM... out November 18th!!
Beyonce's Comeback Song!
This song at first seemed a little out of place for a beginner track for Beyonce.... I was admittedly worried that it wasnt going to do so well, but after the hearing the lyrics of the song I fell in love with it and realised that this was a song with a lot of hidden messaging packed in. I mean the message was clear but for some reason still quite subtle and maybe really only heard by those who have been in this situation (where the other person in the realtionship ends up ruining everything because they weren't there, or didn't care). If you manage to buy this listen to it properly, this is one of Beyonce's better songs to date (not that any of her previous ones weren't good) and make sure to keep an eye out for the video clip - its as much an eye opener as the song! Well done Miss B!
