Benn Gunn is an original boy from the bush who has been playing guitar and singing for as long as he can remember.
In March 2011, Benn released his debut album, Keep on Drivin’, which is a brilliant compilation of well balanced and perfectly delivered tunes which obviously comes straight from the heart.
‘Keep on Drivin’ is one of those albums that you sink into quickly and find hard to leave before listening to the entire album.
From the 1st song, ‘Who I am’, Benn Gunns talent is incredible to say the least, and the years of work building up to this albums release have paid off. The albums overall tones are broad and I must admit I like the ’grungier’ feel to most of the tracks on this album. Benn has produced an album that is right up there with todays country music medium, forging ahead by keeping up with the current trends and by all means, just being himself. His energy, humour, amazing vocal range and ability to connect with everyone and get your foot tapping is to be commended.
Benn Gunns’ musical direction is all positive, with the introduction of this album he is helping to steer Australian Country Rock to where it should be, at the top the charts. With this album, he will be up there with the best in the business.
