fantastic... what a spooky masterpiece by the everlasting master himself.. I would love to see him perform this with Crazy Horse and deliver the full grunt... a powerful recording and a gut wrenching guitar sound.. 5 stars..

Neil Young comes ups trumps.

I cannot remember when I first heard Neil Young: he is in my life's soundtrack. But this album is outstanding, or should that be out-sounding. Never before has Young sounded like this and yet, the essence of Young's sound is caught here. I'll admit I've missed some of his recent albums - perhaps they've been great too - but on first listen, I wonder if this might be one of the greatest albums ever and not only Neil's best in a long time. The music is very interesting, centred around Neil's distorted guitar, and the quality of the song writing is fantastic. Big sound, great lyrics - thanks for keeping the music alive, Neil.

I will listen to this a few more times to see if it grows on me. So far, I am underwhelmed.

From the beginning of his solo career in the late '60s through...
