The best musical soundtrack!!
This musical soundtrack is one of he best i've ever heard! i was lucky enough to go to new york in january and i got to see legally blonde on broadway in times square, however you don't need to see the musical itself to appreciate and enjoy each and every song on this soundtrack!! if you only have money to buy one or two songs, i would strongly recommend 'Omigod you guys' and 'Serious'. Both of these songs capture the best moments in the movie and musical. Overall this soundtrack is awesome if you want to pick yourself up by having a bit of a dance, thanks to its upbeat feel and melody. Finally, the cast, especially Laura Bell Bundy (Elle Woods) have AMAZING voices, another bonus. ENJOY!!!!!! :)

I think the title says it all, this album is awesome! OMIGOD YOU GUYS!!!! THE best of Broadway 2007!!!!!
Of course, Legally Blonde the musical sounds like a terrible idea...and you'd be forgiven for thinking that...but, as this cast recording proves, you couldn't be more wrong. This is, hands down, THE best score to come out of the new broadway season. The Pirate Queen sank, Curtains fell short, Spring Awakening just gets more annoying the more you listen to it and, and Grey Gardens didn't sound PINK enough. LEGALLY BLONDE is just what this season needs, Pink frothy fun. This is the Album that completes the trilogy of teenage girl oriented shows alongside the fabulous HAIRSPRAY and the wonderful WICKED. All the songs are fun, catchy and well written. Look out for the stand out tracks WHAT YOU WANT (with a great marching band solo section), CHIP ON YOUR SHOULDER, the title track LEGALLY BLONDE (and especially it's "remix"ed version) and the showstopping SO MUCH BETTER. (which, for me, is the new DEFYING GRAVITY) Other tracks that work really well are the hillarious SERIOUS, the fun 2nd act opener WHIPPED INTO SHAPE and the obligitory, but essentially funky BEND AND SNAP! Laura Bell Bundy and the rest of the cast put together an amazing collection of girly, fun, pop/broadway songs that will hopefully cement LEGALLY BLONDE's place in broadway history. Here's to a successful run guys, BUY THIS ALBUM NOW....OMIGOD you guys ... it's totally AWESOME!!!!
