great
It's really great to see Statik, one of the best producers ever, working with a reasonably new artist. It's sure to get Freddie's name known, at least in the underground, and it shows that he has got great potential and is talented. As expected, great beats, but the emcee does aiight as well. Recommended
Feeling Freddie Gibbs on this one
I was shocked when Gibbs signed with Young Jeezys label CTE. However with this EP he has put my mind at ease. Can't wait for him to drop his solo album.

In 2009 rapper Freddie Gibbs set out to be the Midwest’s unofficial street poet, releasing a series of mixtapes that were as complex as they were thuggish. Influenced by the likes of 2Pac, Biggie, UGK, and Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, Gibbs filled his lyrics with honest and compelling stories of his hometown’s demise, a steady decline to which he helped contribute while a drug dealer.
