Great
This is definitely one of the best albums of 2009 - and one of the best debut albums! Florence & the Machine will be around for a while, me thinks. These songs are refreshingly crafted with one eye on the arrangements, one on the beautiful melodies - and a third alien eye on the poignant lyrics. Florence has been frequently compared to the amazing Kate Bush, and while there are similarities Florence is very much her own artist and in no way lacks originality. A definite recommendation!
No filler to be found!!!
There is not one bad song on this album - and there are 18 tracks. Florence has an amazing voice and style - she's just enchanting! Cosmic Love, My Boy Builds Coffins, Falling, Rabbit Heart, are all great - but it's just too hard to play favourites - every track is great! Florence has been nominated for the Mercury Music Prize 2009, for this her debut album! She will win, hands down.
Cosmic Love!!!
Everyone's over-looking the fact that Cosmic Love is the best song on the album, but still every song is a masterpiece. A beautiful singer and amazing music to back her up. GO COSMIC LOVE:)!
