Bringing together alternative rock tunes and punk rock-inspiring leads, the Beards ultimately forward breathtaking themes also displaying the band's better expertise. The Beards assembled in 2001 as a side project for vocalist and bassist Lisa Marr, formerly of Cub and of Buck; drummer Sherry Sollinger; alongside guitarist and vocalist Kim Shattuck of the M**fs.
