A MUST HAVE for anyone who appreciates astonishing musical talent...
This album is rich with amazing reinterpretations of already amazing songs, most notably in my opinion The Beatles - Blackbird and Radiohead's - High & Dry. There's some great guest appearances by Katie Noonan, Mahalia Barnes and Reggie Watts too, but it's Mr Percival's sheer talent and energy that bring this album to life. To the uninitiated Mr Percival performs with one instrument - His Voice!!! As stated on the album sleeve 97.3% of this album is his voice. This isn't an album of covers though, Mr P's own work certainly rates very high, with my personal fav being That's What Donny Said (a reference to Donny Hathaway). It's hard to classify Mr P's style, he's funk/soul, dance/electronic and folk all in one. His live shows are a spiritual must. This is the 3rd or 4th release from one of Australia's best kept secrets, but now you know about him too. Support our local talent and share him with everyone...

Every now and again an album comes along and you cant put ur finger on why its great but it just is. This is one of those albums, Mr Pecivals mastery of voice and sound is on exhibition here, and it has something for everyone. I would highly recommend this album to anyone who appreciates great vocals and composition, fith a poinch of soul and funk thrown in
