Of Walls and Teeth
Of Walls and Teeth, a song about the fear of conflict, of fighting with a wolf that is drooling and ready to tear you apart. Often a fight is not about right or wrong but rather how far a person will go to prove their point. This track is about the fight with the wolf and the nasty things anger and ego can fuel.
Of Walls and Teeth is the first single taken from the Drawn From Bees forthcoming album The May King and His Paper Crown. Set for release in 2012, this will be the follow up release to Drawn From Bees’ debut album Fear Not the Footsteps of the Departed that garnered much praise.
With influences such as Cream, the album is an unveiling of depth and mood, rich heavy guitar flavours and an ode to that ripping guitar sound that Keith Richards is so well known for. Inspiration drawn from legendary 70’s outfits like Fleetwood Mac, Neil Young, ELO and The Rolling Stones see the Bees pay homage to the progressive rock and folk albums of their era.
